This programme is for RE subject leaders who are part of the Leeds Learning Partnership. The sessions will cover essential aspects of effective teaching and learning about the Holocaust through a range of interactive workshops.

Life in Plauen

  • Engaging with the case study of Plauen, we illuminate the history of a city and its people.

Being human?

  • This material uncovers how and why ordinary people became complicit in mass murder and reveals searching questions about what it is to be a citizen in the modern world

The void

  • Reflecting on the broader consequences of the Holocaust, we consider the long term impact on the physical, cultural and political landscape of Europe.
